
Alain Rolland, co-founder, chairman, and CEO

As co-founder and chief executive officer of EBlink, Alain leads the company’s mission to provide better deployment solutions for the mobile network industry, using innovative wireless technology.
Alain created EBlink in 2005, after 13 years of experience in the mobile network industry. Driven by his vision for more flexible deployment solutions and smaller base stations in an evolving, high-growth market, he patented an innovative wireless system and assembled a highly qualified team to develop and market it. Since the company’s creation, Alain has successfully raised 20 million euros in investment capital. Under his leadership, EBlink is now installing its technology in commercial sites through contracts signed with international mobile network operators.
In 1992, Alain founded IP6, a company providing design and deployment services to mobile network operators. He served as CEO until 2005, managing a team of 20 people. During this time, Alain developed several innovative software solutions, helping customers deploy thousands of sites in Europe.
Alain is a graduate of the EPITA school in Paris, and holds a computer engineering degree with a specialization in scientific software development.Christian Bittar, co-founder, COO and board member

As co-founder and managing director of EBlink, Christian is responsible for the company’s operations and finances. Together with CEO Alain Rolland, he raised equity funds and built the foundation for achieving EBlink’s vision of better mobile deployment through the Wireless Remote Radio Head TM solution.
Christian served for 10 years as CEO at Creatifs Groupe, an event company that provided full turnkey design and construction services for large trade shows and their sponsors and exhibitors. In that role, he guided the company’s growth from 100 employees and 15 million euros in revenue to 700 employees and revenue of 100 million euros. Christian acquired extensive experience in private and public financing when he led the company through an initial public stock offering, followed by its registration on France’s Second Marché securities market and its subsequent acquisition in a leveraged buyout.
Prior to that, as chief engineering officer for a Sudanese manufacturer, he optimized the process and production of an important manufacturing plant in Sudan that provided consumer products under Unilever licenses.
Earlier in his career, he served as project manager for L’Entreprise Industrielle (EI), where he led large electrical installation projects.
Christian has a degree in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering from ESTP and a master’s in business administration from INSEAD.Laurent Bellot, chief technical officer

Laurent has more than 20 years of experience in technical, regulatory and commercial areas of the telecommunications and related industries. As EBlink’s CTO and technical director, he leads the company’s R&D programs.
Before joining EBlink, he served as director of technical marketing and regulatory affairs for Harris Microwave Communication Division, working closely with senior management, strategy, R&D, product lines and sales.
Earlier in his career, he served as international product marketing manager for Lucent Technologies, and in a variety of R&D roles at Philips and Alcatel.
He graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (Telecom ParisTech), and from Ecole Polytechnique, France.Gael Derven, chief sales and marketing officer

Gael has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business management. He joined EBlink in 2009 as chief sales and marketing officer, after serving for three years as a non-executive board director. He is responsible for developing EBlink sales as well as driving marketing and branding activities. He also is in charge of establishing strategic partnerships to expand the company’s reach and business worldwide.
Prior to joining EBlink, Gael served as director of marketing for Netcentrex IP Communications/Comverse. In that role, he led product marketing for VoIP, video telephony, FMC, IPTV, Triple Play, IP centrex and mobile centrex. He also was responsible for strategic partnerships and technology, and launching new products.
He also has served in a variety of marketing and product-development roles for Nortel Networks, including director of business development and marketing for GSM Europe/Africa. In that role he managed the restructuring of the marketing department and oversaw Nortel’s expansion and acquisition of new customers in emerging markets such as Russia and Africa.
He also has held a number of positions with Orange, including director of international projects. Earlier in his career, Gael worked for CNES, the French space agency. He has an engineering degree from ENST, now known as Paris TelecomTech.Michel Geneste, chief operating officer

Michel joined EBlink in 2010 after serving more than 25 years in a variety of management positions at large industrial companies.
Most recently, he was managing director at ICE Technologie, a French consulting and services firm. In that role, he managed budgets totaling €10 million for new projects and operations, oversaw the introduction of new hardware and software products and led the company’s international expansion.
Prior to that, Michel managed the American subsidiary of IDC Engineering, where he was responsible for partner relations, contract negotiations, risk analysis and technology analysis. While he was in that position, the subsidiary achieved revenue of €10 million and launched programs that led to IDC contracts with STMicroelectronics, Motorola, Phillips, CEA and other leading technology companies and institutes.
Earlier in his career he worked for MGP Domaine Nucléaire and SNEF.
Michel has a master’s degree in international commerce and management from Euromed and an engineering degree from Supélec.Frederic Leroudier, General Manager, North America

Frederic, who joined EBlink in 2012, is based in Silicon Valley and is responsible for developing EBlink’s activities in North America. He has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive and entrepreneur in the wireless industry. Frederic has led network design, technology selection and business development for a variety of international carriers and system integrators.
Before joining EBlink, he founded SAS ViTi, French Polynesia’s second national operator, where he was COO and CTO. While at ViTi, Frederic designed and built the network and established partnerships and interconnection agreements with tier-one international carriers and led the company to a commercial launch within 18 months. Prior to that, Frederic founded and served as CEO of TeeNay Wireless, a Silicon Valley company that developed innovative wireless solutions.
Frederic is also a former general manager of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and strategic accounts for Aperto Networks, a provider of wireless infrastructure equipment. Under his leadership, the region grew from zero to more than 50 percent of Aperto’s revenue on a regular basis. He also created and led Aperto’s worldwide system engineering organization.
Earlier in his career, he served in a variety of executive and senior management positions with LinkAir Communications, Sprint and France Telecom.
Frederic, who holds six patents in various areas of wireless technology, has a master’s degree in telecommunications and networking from Europe’s leading telecom school, ENST Paris, and a master’s degree in economics and applied mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique, France’s top-rated scientific school.
